My Headcanon Future: Celestia and Discord

Something had changed in Discord that day, when he realized what true friendship felt like. After he had betrayed them by taking over their world and nearly killing them all, how could they have asked to bail him out? True friends never leave you no matter what you do; no amount of power is as secure as that. Those warm feelings of happiness and caring spread through him like a virus, and it unsettled him. And when he saw Celestia strolling into the room like a majestic swan, something fluttered in his chest and fogged his brain like old times. How could he have been so stupid? Discord, the Lord of Chaos, giving flowers to the Queen of Harmony? And smiling at her?! He felt like he was melting in his cave with all the thoughts and new emotions that spread through him like waves. His thoughts lingered on that elegant empress of the daytime. How could he have betrayed such an innocent, perfect mare all that time ago? Was it possible that she could forgive him now? Would he ever again sit against that soft, pearl fur that was warm to the touch, with her infinite rainbow sunshine of a mane cascading through his claw-tips like water? He shivered with the cold damp air of his cave. No, a beast like him didn't deserve such perfection.

Years passed, and with the help of all his new pony friends, he learned how to be a good draconequus once more. Nopony could change his random, chaotic ways, but no one ever said chaos had to be something evil. After years he had finally proven to Equestria that he could change and use his powers for good. With nowhere to live other than a damp cave, the royal sisters had allowed him to recycle the abandoned castle in the Everfree into his own slice of chaos. Regardless he was always out and about, either chilling with his pony friends or trying to wooh Celestia. Celestia was not amused. Finally, one day he made her a giant triple chocolate cake, and proceeded to tickle her until she submitted and finally smiled at him. She let him have a >tiny< slice of the cake and for each it was a little slice of heaven. (For celestia it was the cake for discord it was seeing her smile and hearing her laugh)
After another year Discord had won Celestia's trust and after much wooing and asking, he finally won her heart too. Celestia, although she loved him again, was hesitant to marry Discord so soon, but recently the citizens of Equestria had been pressuring for a king. You see, with all of the important roles in society being mares, stallions were beginning to call foul and wanting gender equality. So, mostly as duty to her subjects, Celestia agreed to marry Discord, much to his undisguised delight. With talk of revolts starting, they married at once to ease the tension. The Lord of Chaos was now one with the Queen of Harmony, what a unique sight they made. 
Eventually Celestia got pregnant, much to Discord's delight. He would often dress as a doctor and check on her belly and health. Celestia had no idea what to expect of their child and dreaded the day of birth, but it had to happen. They had a tiny little white colt with wavy black hair and magenta eyes. Although not a traditional Draconequus like his father, the colt had the trademark yellow eyes and random animal body parts. He had eagle wings and tiger front paws, plus a giraffe tail. Later he grew some bull horns and his hair developed some aurora highlights like his mother's too. They named their little jumble of chaos Confusion, or Fusion for short. 

Confusion grew up a very responsible and mature colt. With both his parents being immortal rulers he didnt have any Royal position to live up to, but nevertheless he was under much pressure being the firstborn of the rulers of Equestria. He spent most of his childhood in the castle to avoid all the unwanted attention of being royalty and different. His only friend for a while was Honey Crisp, the daughter of Discord's dear friend Fluttershy. It wasn't until his father taught him how to use chaos magic, and he was able to disguise himself, that he went out in public. Fusion was never ashamed of his appearance like some might've been, but he never wanted the press interrupting his peace and quiet. Fusion earned his cutie mark quite late, neary giving up thinking his Draconequus genes would never allow him one. It was a sun with a yin-yang like symbol, a symbol of balance. Prince Confusion was officially the balance between harmony and chaos. 

Many peaceful years passed, and when Fusion was about 9 they had another foal. It was a gray filly with pink eyes and beautiful teal and mint long hair. At first they thought she was normal, until she wiggled her fluffy black skunk tail. As she got older she also grew some deer antlers and a pair of fangs, but other than that she was a normal filly. Regardless of having horns she didn't have magic or chaos magic either. They named their mischievous ball of sunshine Unity. Unity was a very energetic and playful filly. She spent her time pestering the castle staff and was often scolded by her mother for eating her cakes. She loved playing games with her dad, and would occasionally help him with his playful pranks on Celestia. Even though Unity seemed to have less draconequus genes than Fusion, she was never able to get a cutie mark. Most young ponies would feel worthless if they didn't have a cutie mark, but Unity was actually glad. She didn't believe in limiting oneself to one job in life, and was determined to make her own destiny. From knitting to oceanography she is constantly trying new things to find what feels right for her.

Currently nothing has changed for the immortal rulers of Equestria, they go on ruling and parenting as always. Fusion has been crowned Prince of Harmony, and is tasked with keeping the peace between Equestria and other nations. Unity still messes with the castle staff and is still trying to find her place as a royal.
